Effective 29 August 2026
Privacy.
This notice explains how personal data is used when you visit, bid or contact Brand My Tesla.
1. Controller
Brand My Tesla, operated from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the controller. The operator’s legal name, business address and Chamber of Commerce number must be added here. Privacy requests can be started through @conradusclemens on X ↗.
2. Data collected
We collect the work email address, company name, website, tagline, logo, selected panel, bid and payment status you submit. We also process basic technical and security data such as IP address, timestamps, session cookies, browser information and server logs. Mollie processes the payment details needed to complete a transaction.
3. Why data is used
Data is used to process and review bids, provide the advertising placement and public brand listing, take payment, prevent abuse, secure and operate the site, send transaction and outbid messages, meet tax and accounting obligations, and handle questions or legal claims. The legal bases are performance of the business agreement, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Public information
Approved company names, logos, taglines, websites, bid amounts and chosen panels are intentionally published. Do not upload personal information that you do not want displayed publicly.
5. Providers and transfers
Data is shared only where needed with hosting and infrastructure providers, Mollie for payments, and email or analytics providers when configured. These providers act under their own terms or appropriate processing arrangements. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, an approved transfer mechanism must be used.
6. Retention
Payment and accounting records are retained for the legally required period. Approved public brand listings are retained while the archive is offered, unless removal is legally required. Rejected or failed submissions, upload files and security logs are removed or anonymised when they are no longer reasonably needed. Session cookies expire automatically.
7. Cookies and analytics
Essential session and CSRF cookies keep forms and the admin area secure. They are not used for advertising. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Allow analytics” and is used to understand aggregate site use and improve the bidding experience. You can reopen Analytics settings from the footer to change your choice.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Identity may be verified before a request is fulfilled. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, including encrypted transport, access controls, upload validation and limited retention. No internet service is risk-free. Material changes to this notice will be published here with a new effective date.
